Receiving points already know how data arrives. API connections need an endpoint; database connections use a SQL query.
Gallagher options
Listening starts the rule. Generate event and Manage cardholders are actions in Step 3 and can be used with any incoming source.
Listen for a Gallagher event
Enter the internal item number to limit events to a particular door or device.
Save & go live starts the listener in the service. Each matching event runs the following actions. The test listener only captures data.
Returned rows become workflow variables. Use For each to process each row.
Use Dataverse as a lookup after an incoming source for live rules.
Save & go live subscribes to metadata changes using this identifier. Test data uses an explicitly labelled example event.
Leave scheduling off for on-demand sample reads. To receive incoming messages, create a Webhook endpoint. Scheduled checks are not long polling.
